We are seeking a highly professional, experienced, and client-focused Catering and Reception General Manager to lead the VIP Hospitality and Events operations at a prestigious corporate site in the City.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the seamless delivery of five-star guest experiences, the operational oversight of VIP catering and events, and the effective management of a small but dedicated front-of-house team. You will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring premium service delivery, flawless execution of high-profile events, and exceptional client engagement.
While client services form an important part of the position, the core responsibility lies in managing end-to-end hospitality and event operations with excellence and precision.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all aspects of VIP Hospitality & Events operations, ensuring service excellence and efficiency.
- Inspire and guide the team to deliver outstanding Hospitality & Events and front-of-house services.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee premium catering, meeting room coordination, and high-level event delivery.
- Manage team performance, including scheduling, training, and development.
- Drive continuous service enhancements to elevate guest experiences.
- Ensure all services align with the brand and client standards with professionalism, innovation, and service excellence.
- Proven experience in managing hospitality and events operations within a corporate setting / contract catering.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop small teams with a focus on quality and service culture.
- Exceptional interpersonal and client management skills, with a proactive and consultative approach.
- Strong organisational & administrative capabilities, including resource planning and event coordination.
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written.
