What are we looking for?
Essential

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Volunteer Mentor Recruitment Officer to design and lead the recruitment of inspiring, skilled mentors to join OTC's network. This is a strategic and hands‐on role that requires a minimum of 3 years' professional experience in marketing, HR, or volunteer management. You will apply your expertise in outreach, stakeholder engagement, and recruitment to strengthen OTC's mentor pipeline, ensuring that every young person gains access to meaningful professional guidance. Your work will be key to shaping OTC's long‐term mentor engagement and retention strategy.
What you will be doing
- Designing and implementing strategic outreach campaigns to attract volunteer mentors aligned with OTC's mission and values.
- Applying your marketing and recruitment expertise to promote opportunities across digital platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, university job boards, and volunteering websites such as Reach Volunteering and Escape the City).
- Building and managing partnerships with businesses, universities, and professional networks to generate sustainable mentor pipelines.
- Creating compelling recruitment materials (social media content, digital flyers, outreach messages) that communicate OTC's impact.
- Screening and shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews, and liaising with the Mentor Programme Coordinator to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Using CRM tools or data systems to track recruitment performance and improve strategy over time.
