What’s the role?

We are seeking a Standardisation Lead to champion improvements and harmonization of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and operational protocols across our international facilities. This role offers global exposure and career growth opportunities.

The position will be based mainly at our Leyland facility but will involve travel across our PPU sites in Germany, Poland, Canada, and the UK.

As our Standardisation Lead, you will manage projects to align processes, quality, and operations across multiple international sites, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, reduce variability, and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the development and implementation of standardized manufacturing processes across global sites.
  2. Reducing process variability and ensuring compliance with international food safety standards.
  3. Collaborating with IT, automation, and data science teams.
  4. Facilitating communication across technical and operational departments.
  5. Playing a key role in the BAT team, shaping future software and systems.
  6. Driving the implementation of standardized computer systems and tools.
  7. Streamlining data management across locations.

Who are we looking for?

We seek a strategic, detail-oriented leader with a strong background in production processes and project management to drive standardization. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Proven experience in food manufacturing, preferably in a multinational environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 14001/22000).
  3. Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  4. Ability to influence at the executive level.
  5. Data-driven decision-making skills.
  6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  7. Willingness to travel internationally regularly.
