We’re looking for people with a strong interest in technology, great attention to detail, and a clean driving licence to join a cutting-edge project in London — supporting the safe rollout of autonomous vehicles.
You’ll be responsible for helping train AV operators, monitoring in-vehicle software, and ensuring everything runs safely and smoothly on the road.
Some training may be provided in the U.S.A (travel and accommodation covered).
What You’ll Do
* Train new Autonomous Vehicle Operators in both classroom and on the road settings, ensuring consistency in protocol and safety standards.
* Provide continuous mentoring support to autonomous vehicle operators.
* Operate autonomous vehicles safely and effectively, navigating mapped routes, responding to road conditions, and ensuring system accuracy.
* When required drive up to 8 hours per day while closely monitoring vehicle behavior, with a primary focus on safety at all times.
* Support vehicle operations by managing in-car systems, running basic software tasks, and performing routine safety and functionality checks.
* Collect and document real-time data and observations to support ongoing software development and system refinement.
* Provide clear, structured feedback to engineering teams to improve vehicle performance and identify edge cases.
What You’ll Need
* A genuine interest in tech, software, or smart systems
* Strong communication and situational awareness
* Confident, responsible driver (not necessarily professional)
* Great with people (calm, motivating and encouraging)
* Valid UK driving licence
* 3+ years clean driving history
* Have relevant UK training qualification
* Minimum age: 21 years old - for insurance purposes
* Happy to travel
* Comfortable using laptops, tablets, web tools, and mobile apps
