Overview

Duration: March – October (12 month extension possible)

Monday to Friday

As the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the electrical engineering scope of the onshore converter station for the Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm. You will collaborate with a small team of electrical engineers to ensure subcontractors meet our technical and quality requirements for the design of LV, HV components, and SCADA systems.
With construction work currently ongoing, regular site visits are expected. Additionally, you will oversee the grid connection to the National Grid 400kV onshore station.

Main Duties

  • Coordinate electrical engineering tasks between project participants and suppliers.
  • Monitor time schedules, progress, and deliverables of contractors and specialists.
  • Participate in project team meetings and technical discussions.

Knowledge

  • Extensive experience in technical project management
  • Experience with construction and development of onshore substations

Qualifications

  • A degree in electrical engineering with several years of experience in the field.
