- We are currently seeking an
- Operations Administrator to join our
Cargo Logistics Division.
- Location
- Core Purpose
- Work closely alongside the Chemical Process and Sales & Rental Co-ordinators to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Liaise with internal operations and external clients over the hire and off hire of units and ensure databases are up to date.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, liaising with the Yard Co-ordinator to obtain unit numbers and other required information.
- Monitor and track asset movements using the company's fleet management system.
- Complete all on-hire and off-hire documentation in a timely manner.
- Coordinate daily movement reports for external clients to support accurate and timely monthly invoicing.
- Generate and upload cleaning certificates, ensuring all records are maintained correctly.
- Welcome and assist drivers arriving on site, providing a professional point of contact.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues across departments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Participate in all required training to maintain competency and support continuous professional development.
- Provide cover for the Chemical Process and Sales & Rental Co-ordinators during periods of annual leave or absence, as directed by management.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support the operational needs of the business.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring work is completed to a consistently high standard.
Qualifications
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English at Grade C/4 or above.
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above.
