OEG are looking for 2 x High Voltage Mechanical Fitters that are available to support at one of our client sites in Thurso.
Start date: 27th July - 31st July
Duration: 5 days
Location: Thurso
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support clients yearly HV outage campaign
- Carry out maintenance tasks under supervision of a commissioning engineer e.g., oil samples, battery testing, HV contact resistance checks
- Complete maintenance reports
Certification/Training/Competency Requirements:
- Experience on HV equipment maintenance
- Background of industry experience - National Grid and DNO portfolio of works
- Standard tickets e.g.: MEWP licence IPAF Cat 3b
- National Grid Competent Persons - Not required but desired
- IVDE - National Grid drain earth experience - Not required but desired
- CSCS - Construction site HSE - Not required but desired
