Position: Statutory Inspector: Hailo Lift and Amenabar Crane Maintenance

Start Date: 19.2.2026

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for safe implementation of OEG Renewables policies and procedures at site/shift level on various offshore wind projects predominantly within the UK and possibly worldwide.
  • Assisting department manager in planning, mobilising, execution, and demobilising of statutory inspection work scopes.
  • Maintaining team performance in line with industry, client, project, and company requirements.
  • Aiding in the design and implementation of engineering solutions for statutory inspection projects.
  • Using MY compliance and Motion Kinetic Software to monitor and track company assets deployed on project.
  • As Team Lead, responsible mainly for small teams, with scope for change in line with project requirements.
  • Assisting in the implementation of company and project policies and procedures acting as the client liaison, taking part in briefing/debriefings on daily offshore progress and planning.
  • Aiding in the production of departmental procedures and documentation in line with company document control system.

Certifications – Required:

  • GWO: BST, GWO BTT, GWO EFA and ART
  • GWO Crane and Hoist Basic User
  • HAILO Lift Maintenance
  • WTSR (Safety On)
  • OGUK/OEUK Medical
  • Chester Step

Certification – Desirable:

  • Amenabar Crane

Duties and Responsibilities:

Hailo Lift Maintenance:

  • Perform annual service on Hallo Top-Lift as per OEM maintenance schedule.
  • Conduct 5-year / 250-hour overhaul on Hallo Top Lift, including full inspection of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Replacement of wear-and-tear parts as per overhaul checklist.
  • Execute diagnostic and repair works on Hallo Lift system, based on fault reports or observed deficiencies.
  • Validate all maintenance and repairs through functional testing and completion of checklists.

Amenabar Crane Maintenance:

  • Conduct routine service on Amenabar Nacelle Crane per manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Carry out diagnostic checks and execute repairs on identified issues (mechanical, electrical, or structural).
  • Complete all work in accordance with crane-specific safety and operational procedures.
