OEG are looking for an experienced Statutory Inspector, ideally with Team Lead experience to join one of our UK based OWF projects, staying on a SOV. You will carry out 14/14 rotations.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months with potential to extend
Contract type: Fixed Term or Contractor (possible opportunities long term to go Permanent PAYE)
As a STAT team lead, your role will be:
- To be responsible for safe implementation of OEG Renewables policies and procedures at site/shift level on various offshore wind projects.
- Taking a leading role in mobilising, execution, and demobilising of statutory inspection work scopes on various OEM WTG SGRE Platforms, Goracon Service lift & Vicinay Nacelle Crane.
- Maintaining team performance in line with industry, client, project, and company requirements.
- Using Motion Kinetic Software to monitor and track company and customer assets deployed on project.
- Working solo as an embedded tech.
- Assisting in the implementation of company and project policies and procedures acting as the client liaison taking part in briefing/debriefings on daily offshore progress and planning.
Certification Requirements:
- OGUK / OEUK Medical Chester Step Test: Good or Above
- GWO BST (5 modules)
- GWO β Enhanced First Aid
- GWO Advanced Rescue - all four modules
