OEG are looking for a Vestas Authorised technician that is available to carry out either 14/14 or 21/7 rotations on one of our projects out of North East Scotland. The candidate will travel to site by CTV daily.

Start date: 01/07/26

Completion: 17/08/26

Rotations: 14/14 or 21/7

Location: Moray East, North East Scotland

Work Scope

  • Drive Train Inspections: Detailed inspection of drivetrain components including gearbox, generator, shafts, bearings, couplings, and associated systems. Visual and functional checks to identify wear, defects, leaks, abnormal noise/vibration, or any signs of failure. Recording and reporting of inspection findings in accordance with project and OEM requirements.
  • End-of-Warranty Work Walkdowns: Conduct systematic walkdowns of assigned assets to identify outstanding defects, damage, or incomplete works. Verification of previously reported issues and close-out status. Raising and tracking punch list items as required.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Compilation of inspection reports, defect logs, and photographic evidence. Liaison with stakeholders to ensure all findings are recorded and communicated effectively. Support in developing remedial action plans where required.
