We are looking for an Opito stage 3/4 Rigger to be responsible for lifting on project. We are keen to hear from individuals who hold GWO Enhanced First Aid and can be available on 10/6/2026 for 4 weeks. Travel and accommodation provided.
Qualification and Experience:
- OGUK / OEUK Medical
- GWO Enhanced First Aid
- GWO Fire Awareness
- GWO WAH
- GWO Manual Handling
- GWO Sea Survival
- Relevant technical qualifications (Opito 3/4, NVQ)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out supervision of lifts on the project.
- Ensuring lifting gear is up to the specified standard.
- To always work in a safe and professional manner.
- Follow Risk Assessment and Method statements.
- Follow Clients HSE protocols.
- To always represent OEG Marine Ltd in a professional manner.
- To support the shore-based Manager whenever possible.
- Organizing tools and other materials to carry out day to day tasks.
- Assisting with the mobilization and de-mobilization of offshore generators.
- Submitting observation cards when necessary (positive and negative).
- Monitor and renew any training certificates critical to your role.
- Attend any Toolbox talks given by OEG Marine Ltd or client’s.
- Assisting with generator maintenance and fuelling works.
