Installation Supervisor – Wind Energy Projects

OEG is seeking experienced Installation Supervisors to support upcoming offshore wind projects.

This position will suit a confident site leader with a strong technical background, previous wind industry experience and a proven ability to manage installation teams in a safety‑critical environment.

Position Overview

As Installation Supervisor, you will take ownership of day‑to‑day installation activities on site.

You will coordinate personnel, monitor progress and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project procedures and quality expectations.

You will work alongside the site management and lifting teams to maintain clear communication, resolve operational issues and keep installation activities on schedule.

Main Duties

  • Lead and coordinate daily installation operations with a high focus on mechanical completion of blade installation.
  • Allocate tasks and provide direction to technicians and other site personnel.
  • Work closely with installation management, lifting personnel and supporting project teams.
  • Confirm that teams have access to the correct work packs, procedures, method statements and technical instructions.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety and quality requirements.
  • Address technical, operational or safety concerns as soon as they arise.
  • Complete and maintain accurate project and quality documentation.
  • Coordinate the transfer of completed work to the completion and inspection teams.
  • Provide detailed end‑of‑rotation handovers to the incoming supervisor.
  • Encourage a positive team culture focused on safe working, high standards and continuous improvement.

Experience

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience within the wind industry.
  • Practical experience supporting wind turbine installation activities.
  • Mechanical or electrical technical training, qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Ability to understand and work from hydraulic and electrical drawings.
  • Strong spoken and written English.
