Heavy Lift Supervisor - PAYE

OEG is looking for Heavy Lift Supervisors for offshore roles in the UK from end of October until end of April 2027.

This is a Fixed Term (PAYE) role ONLY. 2 week rotations.

Job role includes:

  • Provide Heavy Lift Supervision services to support the offshore installation construction activities of the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm.

  • Coordinating and supervising all lifting and rigging operations to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.

  • Ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain compliance with project procedures, legislation, and industry standards.

  • Prevent incidents, dropped objects, and equipment damage.

  • Review and verify lift plans, risk assessments, and method statements.

  • Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks.

  • Verify certification and suitability of cranes, lifting gear, and rigging equipment.

  • Monitor weather and operational conditions affecting lifting activities.

  • Produce daily reports, lift records, and safety observations.

  • Coordinate lifting operations between vessel crews, technicians, and project teams.

  • Ensure lifting operations are performed in accordance with approved procedures.

  • Lead and coordinate crane operators, riggers, and lifting teams.

  • Stop work where unsafe conditions or practices are identified.

  • Participate in HSE meetings, inspections, and incident investigations.

  • Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to project management.

  • OGUK / OEUK Medical

  • Chester Step

  • GWO BST

  • GWO BTT

  • GWO Enhanced First Aid

  • GWO Advanced Rescue - all four modules

  • (Hub, Nacelle, Hub Single and Nacelle Single)

  • GWO Slinger Signaller

  • Lift User

  • CPCS Blue Card (or higher)

  • Technical and Operational Safety (TOS)
