As our busy year continues, we are looking for an offshore NACE/FROSIO/AMPP certified paint inspector to work within the UK. You will need to be certified to Level 1 or 2 and have your IRATA certifications. This is a 28 day assignment overseeing a small repair campaign on an offshore windfarm using Repacorr / Easy Quote Tape and 2 part paint.
Major Tasks / Deliverables
- Verify surface preparation (e.g. SSPC / ISO cleanliness & profile)
- Monitor environmental conditions (RH, DFT, dew point)
- Inspect coating application and curing
- Record inspection data and NCRs
- Confirm compliance with the approved coating specification
- Undertake touch ups and repair as necessary
- Prepare Iauditor paint reports for each repair
