Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to achieve the Parts & Service sales objectives by driving and improving your regional Distrigo Hub, Relay, Market, and Eurorepar Car Service businesses in regard to sales performance, marketing, and overall operational profitability. Working with site management and leadership to grow and develop sales and increase profitability whilst implementing and managing the Parts & Service sales actions, campaigns, and initiatives. Covering Scotland including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen.
Job Duties
- Achieve the sales and profit objectives.
- Achieve the sell-out objectives in the key channels of Authorised Repairer, Eurorepar Car Service, Trade and Bodyshop.
- Drive the sales and engagement of IAM (DFS, Eurorepar, Supplier Brands) through all channels focusing on stock availability, service levels and marketing.
- Conduct monthly business reviews to review sales performance, profitability, and participation in the Parts & Service campaigns and initiatives.
- Jointly develop sales, marketing, and operational actions to drive sales performance growth and operational improvements.
- Provide account management to your regional Eurorepar Car Service sites including debt management.
- Prepare business cases as and when required to demonstrate ROI for proposed actions or programmes.
- Ensure the Parts & Service operational “Norms” are deployed and being adhered to.
Experience & skills required
- 5+ years experience in a sales or commercial role.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK Aftermarket, Trade, and Network Operations.
- Excellent understanding of sales and commercial operations.
- Excellent understanding of financial data, management accounts and profitability.
- Ability to construct business cases to substantiate own suggestions as well as Parts & Service strategy.
- Understanding of marketing and its effective use in growing the sales funnel.
- IT Skills: MS Office and the ability to create professional presentations.
- Experience in process improvement and coaching for improvement desirable.
- Clear and concise communicator with the ability to influence people up to Director/Board level.
- Demonstrates gravitas and credibility.
- Collaborative and team orientated and able to demonstrate tenacity and initiative.
- Passionate about customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting demands and priorities.
- Ability to cope within a sales-pressured environment and work autonomously.
