About the role
Join Odyssey Pensions as a Scheme Manager and become a key part of our Administrative Team. You’ll provide holistic administrative support for a portfolio of clients. Whether you are an experienced Pensions Administrator, a Graduate looking for a new challenge in Financial Services or looking for a career change, we encourage personal challenges, ambition, initiative and we reward success. What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with both members of the public and individuals from various professional services, including financial advisers, solicitors, accountants and surveyors.
- Developing expertise to deal with administration, problem solving and helping clients achieve objectives through their Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) and Small Self Administered Schemes (SSAS).
- Learning all aspects of pension planning ranging from establishing new pension schemes to transactions which may include purchasing commercial property to undertaking secure lending to arranging retirement.
- Dealing with day-to-day queries as they arise, learning to problem-solve and work flexibly using a variety of sources and materials to achieve work objectives with various deadlines.
- Adhering to internal procedures, standards and both FCA/HMRC requirements.
- Using database systems, Microsoft Office, manual files and records to ensure accuracy is maintained.
About you
- Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with people on a daily basis in a polite, efficient and friendly manner.
- Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
- Teamwork forms a significant part of the role, but also the talent to work using your own initiative.
- No expertise in pensions administration is required as full training and support will be provided alongside the role.
