O’Donnell Moonshine is an alcohol beverage business bringing back the infamous Moonshine Spirit from the 1920’s prohibition time into today’s world. We only use high quality ingredients and value the tradition of our Moonshine by bottling it in original ‘Mason Jars.’ This is a great opportunity to be a part of one of the most exciting, unique, and fastest-growing spirits brands in the UK. This role is full time and based in our offices located in the trendy Northern Quarter, Manchester. We value approachability, customer focus, fun, flexibility, and commitment.

As a New Business Development Executive, your primary focus will be to identify, contact, and secure new customers for O’Donnell Moonshine. You will play a critical role in growing our customer base and revenue through proactive prospecting, high-quality sales conversations, and excellent pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify, research, and target new business opportunities across both on and off trade environments.
  • Make outbound calls, send prospecting emails, and leverage social selling to generate leads and book meetings.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects’ needs and pitch relevant solutions.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations (over the phone, video call, or in-person).
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, ensuring a high conversion rate.
  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline using Pipedrive.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual KPIs and sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider Sales and Marketing teams to optimise lead generation and campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven track record of success in outbound sales, telesales, or new business development.
  • Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and engaging senior decision-makers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities.
  • Highly organised with strong time management and CRM discipline.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain relationships.
  • Tech-savvy – comfortable with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Previous experience in the alcohol and spirits sector is advantageous but not essential.
