ODM Services are seeking a high-quality Lead Gas / Reactive Engineer to join our growing team. We are looking for an experienced domestic gas engineer who is ready to take the next step in their career. This is more than a service and breakdown role. It is an opportunity to step into a position with real responsibility, helping to lead and supervise the gas/reactive side of the business while developing toward commercial gas. This position would suit someone who is already strong technically, takes pride in doing the job properly, and is now looking for a company that can offer genuine long-term progression.
The role involves carrying out reactive gas works across London and surrounding areas, including servicing, maintenance, breakdowns and repairs, while also helping drive standards across the gas division. You will be expected to lead by example through your workmanship, communication, professionalism and approach to customer service.
Key duties:- Domestic gas servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding
- Reactive call outs across London and surrounding areas
- Supporting the supervision and day-to-day leadership of the gas/reactive team
- Helping maintain high technical and professional standards
- Liaising with management and office staff to keep works running smoothly
- Accurate paperwork and job reporting
- Participation in a 1 in 6 call out rota
- Experienced domestic gas engineer
- Strong in service, breakdown and fault-finding work
- Comfortable in reactive maintenance environments
- Looking for a genuine step up in responsibility
- Professional, organised and customer-focused
- Full UK driving licence
- ACS domestic gas qualified
- Ideally from a strong practical background, preferably with apprenticeship-based training
