Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle sales from day one, spanning pipeline creation through to signed contract.
  • Lead discovery, demos, negotiations, pricing and contract execution with rigour and credibility.
  • Maintain deal momentum across longer cycles, adept at sequencing stakeholders and sustaining urgency.
  • Negotiate with business impact in mind, structuring commercials and deal terms with an understanding of second-order effects.
  • Operate the system with discipline, keeping CRM data spotless and forecasting accurately.
  • Sharpen the craft of how we sell, feeding high-quality insights back to Founders, Product, Ops and Growth.
  • Create leverage through experimentation using AI, tooling, automation and self-built systems.

  • Commercial thinking, discussing price, structure and contracts while understanding broader impacts.
  • Credibility in selling, being knowledgeable, thoughtful, and straight-talking.
  • Tailored, intentional and clear outreach and conversations.
  • Ability to improve through iteration, testing approaches and tracking results.
  • Capability to handle longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles while maintaining momentum.
  • Use of tools to increase output thoughtfully, adopting AI and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Competitive drive to win and improve, measuring what matters.
  • Non-negotiable pipeline hygiene, ensuring CRM and forecasting accuracy.

Your Experience Must-Haves

  • A BD/AE from an early-stage start-up who knows how to build motion.
  • A commercially-minded operator from VC, investment banking or private markets.
  • A sharp generalist from a high-intensity environment with the pace, rigour and grit needed to run deals end-to-end.

Nice to haves

  • Experience selling into VC, private markets, or fund operators.
  • Selling complex or regulated financial products.
  • Networks relevant to VC/PE.
  • Experience at companies targeting investors managing longer multi-stakeholder nurture cycles.
