The Role
As a Software Engineer at Odin Vision, you will be leading the design and development of a suite of tools to help doctors improve the detection and diagnosis of cancer. This includes user interface development for clinical software, the development of internal tools for handling videos and implementing cloud back end systems. You will work alongside our talented team of researchers and engineers and collaborate with clinical experts and end users. You must be able to work well in a multi‑disciplinary team and have strong communication skills. You should be familiar with state‑of‑the‑art technology and software development methodologies and be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You should have a passion for technology, healthcare and improving the lives of others. This is a fixed‑term contract position. The role is part of the EndoCartoScope project, co‑funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Developing clinical software and support architecture design, testing, validation and verification
- Solving deployment challenges of real time software solutions
- Supporting the planning of projects
- Reporting on project progression
- Working with a multi‑disciplinary team in a lean/agile development environment
Requirements
- Graduated from a computer science, software engineering or related degree program
- Hands on experience with using Python + Django
- Hands on experience with JavaScript
- Experience with additional languages and frameworks is a plus (HTML, CSS, React, C++, SQL)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience working in a regulated field, such as healthcare, is a bonus
- Knowledge of machine learning, computer vision or medical imaging toolkits/libraries is a bonus
