PCV/HGV Mechanic

The Odin Recruitment Group are seeking x3 professional and experienced HGV/PCV mechanics for a customer based in Manchester South. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced mechanic to join a very ambitious and customer centric organisation. Salary – £800.00 – £1000.00 per week depending on experience and qualifications (time and a half paid on weekends) + benefits and perks Typical duties include – – carrying out routine inspections, servicing and repairs on vehicles – perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery – diagnose mechanical issues and develop appropriate solutions – repair or replace faulty components and parts – conduct thorough inspections of engines, transmissions, and other systems – test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs – keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair tasks We would like to hear from candidates who have – – proven experience as a Mechanic – proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment – Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engines – ability to work independently and as part of a team – excellent problem-solving skills Candidates will have a recognised apprenticeship as a bus Mechanic/PCV/PSV Technician and hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
