We are recruiting for an experienced Room Leader / Third in Charge to join a warm, welcoming and well-established nursery setting in N22. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within a beautiful, well-resourced environment, working alongside a supportive management team who genuinely value their staff. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy while leading your own room to deliver outstanding care and education.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a room and ensuring high standards of care and learning
- Supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy with the smooth running of the setting
- Acting as Third in Charge in the absence of senior leadership
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are consistently met
What we’re looking for:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or strong Senior Practitioner ready to step up
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Confident leadership and communication skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality childcare
