An established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with injection moulding experience to support production operations within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will primarily bring strong electrical engineering expertise, supported by mechanical maintenance capability, to maintain production machinery and associated equipment. The role involves ensuring production lines operate efficiently while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing teams. This opportunity would suit an engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and has strong technical knowledge of moulding machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair injection moulding machines and associated production equipment
- Provide electrical fault-finding and repair support across production machinery
- Support production teams to ensure machinery operates efficiently and meets performance targets
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Diagnose equipment faults and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues
- Support engineering and manufacturing improvement projects to enhance machine performance and production efficiency
- Monitor machine performance, quality metrics, and production output
- Coordinate maintenance activities across moulding machines and ancillary equipment
