Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Rotating Equipment Engineer looking to join a well-established engineering company with excellent earning potential, ongoing training, and long-term career prospects? We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our busy workshop team, carrying out the overhaul, repair, assembly, testing, and servicing of a wide range of industrial pumps and rotating equipment. The Role

  • Overhauling, stripping, repairing, assembling, servicing, and testing a wide variety of industrial pumps and rotating equipment.
  • Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out high-quality repairs to industry standards.
  • Completing all service reports and engineering documentation accurately.
  • Working closely with the fitting and quotations team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adhering to all health and safety procedures.
  • Providing occasional on-site support and customer assistance when required.

About You

You will ideally be a time-served Mechanical Fitter or Engineer with relevant engineering qualifications and experience in rotating equipment. We're particularly interested in candidates with experience of:

  • Industrial pumps and pumping systems.
  • Electric motors, gearboxes, fans, or other rotating machinery.
  • Mechanical fault finding and precision engineering.
  • Working to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
  • Industries such as manufacturing, chemical processing, water, utilities, power generation, or heavy engineering.

You'll also have:
