Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Rotating Equipment Engineer looking to join a well-established engineering company with excellent earning potential, ongoing training, and long-term career prospects? We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our busy workshop team, carrying out the overhaul, repair, assembly, testing, and servicing of a wide range of industrial pumps and rotating equipment. If you have experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans, or similar mechanical equipment, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
- Overhauling, stripping, repairing, assembling, servicing, and testing a wide variety of industrial pumps and rotating equipment.
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out high-quality repairs to industry standards.
- Completing all service reports and engineering documentation accurately.
- Working closely with the fitting and quotations team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Providing occasional on-site support and customer assistance when required.
About You
You will ideally be a time-served Mechanical Fitter or Engineer with relevant experience.
