We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Engineer to join our growing team.

This is an excellent entry-level position for someone with manufacturing quality experience who is eager to develop their technical skills and progress into a fully qualified Quality Engineer role.

You'll work alongside experienced Quality Engineers, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the Quality Engineering team with day-to-day quality assurance activities.
  • Assisting with product conformity checks and ensuring compliance with customer and industry specifications.
  • Supporting calibration activities and maintaining quality records.
  • Assisting with the administration and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) / Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Working with manufacturing teams to help maintain high quality standards from raw material through to finished product.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting departmental projects..

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally in a quality-related role.

* A good understanding of manufacturing quality processes, including

  • Product conformance
  • Calibration
  • Engineering drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished products.
  • An understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
  • Experience working within highly regulated industries such as aerospace or defence would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
  • Competent IT and administrative skills.
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire to develop a career in Quality Engineering.
