What You’ll Be Doing
- Strip, inspect, repair, and rebuild industrial gearboxes
- Diagnose faults in motors, pumps, and rotating machinery
- Work from engineering drawings and tight tolerances
- Carry out precision assembly and overhaul work
- Support maintenance and breakdown operations on industrial and plant equipment
Candidates Will Have
- Mechanical fitting or gearbox overhaul experience
- Knowledge of industrial, agricultural, or plant machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with pumps, motors, and rotating equipment
Pay
- £22 to £30 per hour (limited)
- Overtime available (up to 1.5x rates)
- Company van on selected roles
- Door-to-door pay available on some contracts
