The Opportunity:

  • As Service Manager, you will lead a team of 11 engineers within a workshop environment, ensuring high standards of productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • You’ll also act as the primary technical contact for both customers and suppliers.
  • This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining team management with technical involvement.
  • You will oversee operations across two sites, with regular travel (2-3 nights per week). A company van will be provided for site travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 11 engineers.
  • Drive productivity, quality standards, and operational processes.
  • Oversee service operations across two sites.
  • Deliver training and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the main technical point of contact for customers and suppliers.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Team Leader.
  • Strong technical knowledge of gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps, and rotating equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with stripping, inspection, and repair of mechanical components.
  • Ambitious and ready to progress into a Service Manager role.
  • Comfortable with travel and working across multiple sites.
