Workshop Supervisor

Salary: £50,000 £60,000 + 10% Bonus + Overtime + 33 Days Holiday

The Opportunity
As Service Manager, you will lead a team of 11 engineers within a workshop environment, ensuring high standards of productivity, quality, and continuous improvement. Youll also act as the primary technical contact for both customers and suppliers.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining team management with technical involvement.
You will oversee operations across two sites, with regular travel (23 nights per week). A company van will be provided for site travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 11 engineers
- Drive productivity, quality standards, and operational processes
- Oversee service operations across two sites
- Deliver training and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as the main technical point of contact for customers and suppliers
About You
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Team Leader
- Strong technical knowledge of gearboxes, motors, engines, pumps, and rotating equipment
- Hands-on experience with stripping, inspection, and repair of mechanical components
- Ambitious and ready to progress into a Service Manager role
- Comfortable with travel and working across multiple sites
