Our leading manufacturer with several sites situated across the UK is looking for a electrical biased facilities engineer to support the Engineering Manager who will be overseeing the site ensuring high standards are met. You will be diagnosing faults, identifying problems on site, and implementing solutions. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Repair & Maintenance work is focused on maintenance of building and grounds of an organization, and the upkeep of equipment and supplies including: Scheduling repairs, renovations projects, waste reduction improvements, and safety inspections. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labour, materials, and other related costs. Overseeing services related to electric maintenance, mechanics, hydraulics, carpentry and masonry, substituting, changing, cleaning, repairing and installing pieces, components and equipment. Responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Performs electrical and repairs of fixtures and equipment. Responsible for the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Conducts periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work. Qualifications and Experience: A trade apprenticeship min 5 years practical experience in the Industry, Maintenance or Installation background considered. Educated to GCSE Level standard or equivalent in Maths, English and Science subjects. Qualification: O.N.C. or C & G Certificate, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering. Proven ability in fault finding.
