About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a vibrant and supportive early years setting in Macclesfield. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with excellent organisational skills, a deep understanding of early years education, and a genuine commitment to high standards of care, safeguarding, and education.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education

Lead and inspire a team of practitioners, supporting their development and performance

Ensure full compliance with all safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements

Build strong relationships with children, parents, staff, and external agencies

Monitor and support the implementation of the EYFS across the setting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with policies and procedures

Support the nurserys continuous improvement and development

Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and consistently implemented

Actively contribute to staff recruitment, training, and retention

Requirements
-
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (UK recognised)

Minimum of two years' senior leadership experience within an early years setting
-
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices

Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
-
GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, or willingness to achieve this within two years
-
A clear, enhanced DBS check and commitment to ongoing safeguarding training
