Duration: Short term, but multiple projects Odin Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Banksman / Slinger for an ongoing project based in Carrington (M31) .

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join a busy site, working with a professional team on a long-term contract.

The Role As a Banksman / Slinger , you will be responsible for the safe slinging and signalling of loads, directing vehicle and crane movements, and ensuring all lifting operations are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities Sling and signal loads safely for crane operations.

Direct the safe movement of cranes, lorries, plant, and other site vehicles.

Communicate clearly with crane operators, drivers, and site personnel using recognised hand signals and radio communication where required.

Monitor work areas for potential hazards and report any safety concerns immediately.

Requirements Previous experience as a Banksman / Slinger is essential.

Valid Slinger/Signaller certification (CPCS or NPORS) is preferred.

Precast lifting (desirable)Banksman / Traffic Marshal qualification is advantageous.
