Were looking for aDepot Managerto take charge of our Edinburghbranch and lead a focused sales team of 6 to new heights. Working for a well-establishedorganisation, this role is all aboutdriving sales, leading by example and getting the best out of your team every single day. What Youll Be Doing: Lead and motivatea team of 6 sales professionals to deliver against SMART targets. Conductdaily morning briefingsto set up the team for success, discussing sales goals and strategy. Create and manage staff rotasin advance to ensure fairness across an \”any 5 of 7\” shift pattern. Carry outperformance reviews, one-to-ones and accurate appraisals, with a clear focus on development and results. Leading by example in the sales forum. Review and support individualsales pipelinesto help staff close more business. You will have an excellent B2B and B2C telephone manner Attend face-to-face customer meetings Ability to really listen to customers and understand their requirements. Accurately track and reportbranch sales activity, presenting performance updates to your Regional Manager on a monthly basis. What Were Looking For: Experience inmanaging a sales teamwithin a retail, logistics, or service-based environment. natural ability to \’connect\’ with both sales staff and customers. Ability to set clear goals, track performance and coach individuals to success. Confident communicator with an excellenttelephone mannerand strongface-to-face presence.
