Estimator (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Bury, Lancashire
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: 36.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in metalwork fabrication who enjoys working closely with customers, drawings, and quotations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates for customer enquiries.
- Reviewing and interpreting technical and design drawings.
- Liaising with customers regarding project requirements and specifications.
- Working closely with production and sales teams to ensure estimates are commercially competitive and achievable.
- Maintaining accurate records of quotations and project information.
- Supporting the sales process through effective communication and customer service.
About You
- Previous estimating experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Knowledge and experience of metalwork, fabrication, or sheet metal processes.
- The ability to read and interpret technical/design drawings.
- Strong commercial awareness and sales experience.
- Excellent numerical, organisational, and communication skills.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:30am - 3:00pm
