We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in metalwork fabrication who enjoys working closely with customers, drawings, and quotations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates for customer enquiries.
  • Reviewing and interpreting technical and design drawings.
  • Liaising with customers regarding project requirements and specifications.
  • Working closely with production and sales teams to ensure estimates are commercially competitive and achievable.
  • Maintaining accurate records of quotations and project information.
  • Supporting the sales process through effective communication and customer service.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous estimating experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of metalwork, fabrication, or sheet metal processes.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical/design drawings.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sales experience.
  • Excellent numerical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:30am - 3:00pm
