Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team.
The Role
This position will play a key role in ensuring that all products meet stringent aerospace quality standards. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality systems, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement across the business.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and control plans
- Perform inspection and verification of materials, components, and finished products
- Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis with corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to embed quality processes
- Conduct internal and supplier audits, supporting supplier performance improvements
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, including FAIRs, NCRs, and inspection reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system
- Provide guidance to production teams on quality standards and best practices
Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in a Quality Engineering role within aerospace or precision engineering
- Experience with inspection tools, measurement techniques, and quality documentation
- Root Cause Analysis, 8D
