Are you highly organised, customer-focused and experienced in coordinating orders, stock, logistics or technical support activities? We're looking for an Engineering Administrator to join a busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an engineering, manufacturing, production, logistics, purchasing or technical administration background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

As a key member of the Aftersales team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring customers receive outstanding support while managing the smooth flow of spare parts, consumables, supplier orders and logistics activities. This is a varied position that combines customer service, order processing, stock management, supplier liaison and logistics coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen.

The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating the complete order lifecycle for spare parts and consumables, working closely with customers, suppliers, engineers and internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing customer orders, quotations and sales orders
  • Raising and managing purchase orders with suppliers
  • Coordinating spare parts and consumables requirements
  • Monitoring stock levels and supporting inventory management activities
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery schedules
  • Resolving delivery discrepancies and warranty-related queries
  • Arranging UK and international shipments
  • Supporting import/export documentation and customs requirements
  • Tracking deliveries and providing updates to customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Providing general administrative support to the Aftersales department

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who have experience in a similar coordination, administration or customer support role within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical environment. You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in sales support, internal sales, purchasing, customer service or administration
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience processing sales orders and purchase orders
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Experience with stock control, inventory management, logistics, shipping or import/export processes would be highly advantageous.
