ODGroup is a leading office interiors company based in the City of London, with a dual focus on both traditional construction and design and build. We have firmly established our brand due to excellent service and a commitment to ongoing innovation and are on track for another successful year. We’re seeking a dynamic and self-driven Marketing and Content Manager for a one-year maternity cover, with the opportunity to make a real impact across our marketing and communications.

You will take ownership of our marketing activity and drive creative, targeted, engaging and on-brand campaigns and content. The role will sit within the Group team, with support given on strategy, social media, website analytics and graphic design. The Marketing and Content Manager will be responsible for the creation of robust and innovative marketing campaigns and compelling content, leading to qualified leads. They are also responsible for supporting the sales effort of the business development team, with quality content and material that is designed to nudge prospects along the sales process.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Defining the annual marketing plan with the Head of Business Operations and implementing it, including managing the annual budget and tracking of expenditure.
  • Continuing to raise the profile of ODGroup, ODInteriors, ODCreate and ODWorks.
  • Being a ‘Business Partner’ by working with the Preconstruction Director and Projects Directors to assess the wants and needs of each business unit in terms of marketing and exposure.
  • Managing LinkedIn and Instagram channels, developing platform strategy, writing engaging copy, and creating supporting visual assets.
  • Taking ownership of email, Google advertising and paid social campaigns, measuring the impact and adapting future campaigns based on learnings.
  • Managing relationship with external paid media agency, collaborating on strategy development, performance optimisation, and budget allocation decisions.
  • Continually optimising our website and online content for SEO using WordPress.
  • Continuing to develop an effective lead generation strategy in collaboration with the Head of Data, and using our website, social media platforms, email marketing, and a mix of organic and paid approach.
  • Producing new thought leadership and blog content for our website and social media channels.
  • Working with our internal graphic designers to continue development and refresh of the associated marketing and business development collateral.
  • Entering ODGroup for relevant and achievable industry awards that will raise our profile.
  • Coordinating ODGroup presence at industry events and trade shows, including getting our people onto panel talks.
  • Looking for opportunities to promote ODGroup via relationships with third parties and back links – e.g. our suppliers, clients, industry media.
  • Managing any PR requirements for the business.
  • Coordinating photo and video content with external photographers and drone videography company.
  • Undertaking regular competitor analysis to help improve and differentiate our own marketing offering / online presence.
  • Working with the Head of Business Operations to drive internal communications on our intranet platform and digital signage.
  • Responsible for protecting and maintaining brand integrity across all communications, platforms, and touchpoints.
  • Designing and producing site collateral, including banners, vinyl applications, project boards, and hoarding, ensuring brand consistency and compliance.
  • Preparing detailed quarterly marketing reports for senior leadership, providing data-driven insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations.

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in a similar role within B2B, fit-out or construction industry preferred but not essential.
  • A team player who takes accountability and pride in their work, striving always to produce best-in-class results.
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently and build relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Proven copywriting skills across both printed and digital media.
  • Working use of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop would be highly beneficial, knowledge of Canva to create marketing assets for social media (video not essential but preferred) along with an advanced knowledge of WordPress.
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics and Klaviyo.
  • Proficient knowledge of Hubspot CRM, Dealfront or other equivalent marketing tools.
  • Attention to detail; a process-driven approach with good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to evaluate performance data, identify trends, and make informed, evidence-based decisions.
