We are now seeking a dynamic and highly personable Front of House Manager to join our administration team. This is a key role responsible for delivering an outstanding reception and visitor experience, while working closely with the Group HR Director to help create a workplace that is engaging, productive, and enjoyable for our team. This position has been created to further strengthen our busy office environment. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that the successful candidate is based in the office 5 days per week; this role cannot be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the front of house reception area and meeting rooms, ensuring they consistently reflect a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls to the main switchboard in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Welcome and host visitors, ensuring a first‑class experience at all times.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings, ensuring all spaces are well presented, organised, and ready for use.
  • Manage catering and refreshments for meetings and events, including drinks, breakfast, and lunch arrangements where required.
Administration
  • Maintain office supplies including stationery, coffee, paper, and other consumables to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post and courier services, including arranging taxis when required.
  • Organise staff birthday cards and cakes, helping to maintain a positive and inclusive office culture.
  • Support the Group HR Director with the planning and delivery of internal events and company socials.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative and PA support to the senior leadership team as required.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support the Marketing and Digital Manager with social media activity across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X (Twitter).
  • Assist the Head of Sustainability with recording and tracking of carbon footprint data relating to office operations and business activity.
  • Initial setup of new starters IT (laptop, email etc.).
Skills and Experience Required
  • A qualification in Business Administration (NVQ, diploma, or equivalent) is desirable.
  • A friendly, confident, and highly presentable individual who enjoys being the face of the business.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and willing to take initiative and “get stuck in” to support the wider team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
