Reporting to: Principal & Vice-Chancellor and Chair of Court

The University of Dundee is seeking an exceptional leader to join its senior executive team as University Secretary. This pivotal role provides strategic governance, legal, and compliance leadership across the institution, ensuring the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct.

As Secretary to the University Court, you will advise senior leaders on statutory and regulatory matters, lead governance services, and oversee key professional functions including Legal Services and the Executive Office. You will play a vital role in supporting effective decision-making and delivering institutional strategy.

We are looking for candidates with significant senior leadership experience in complex organisations, deep knowledge of governance and legal compliance, and the ability to influence at the highest levels. Integrity, diplomacy, and outstanding communication skills are essential.
