A vacancy has arisen for the position of Engineering Team Lead based at Prime Four Business Park in Kingswells. The key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the responsibilities detailed below:
- Supervise the discipline engineering team to ensure efficient delivery of project goals, including coordination of project tasks and deliverables.
- Line management of discipline engineers, including recruitment.
- Actively participate in projects and production of deliverables.
- Identify and initiate improvement initiatives and ensure efficient delivery.
- Responsible for overall quality of discipline engineering deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to OPEM and other applicable company procedures.
- Participate and support business development/tender/sales/marketing activities.
- Be responsible for continuous improvement, sharing lessons learned and establishing best practice.
- Be available for offshore travel as and when required.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Degree Level Qualification in engineering or commercial/business subject.
- Minimum 8 years experience working within an engineering modification environment.
- Hold the relevant offshore certification.
- Significant experience/understanding of discipline engineering delivery.
- Significant experience in the management and direction of project delivery.
- Knowledge of drilling operational requirements and downhole/well engineering.
- Experience with offshore modification projects is required both fixed and modular.
- Experienced in engineering standards, rules and regulations for offshore drilling facilities.
