The primary responsibility of the role is to act as the TRS specialist, ensuring that all required equipment for TRS operations is on board, function tested, and ready for use in advance of all planned TRS operations, and that all TRS operations are executed in a safe manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of TRS equipment and operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Duties / Tasks:

  • Ensure all TRS equipment is maintained, tested, and operated according to company standards and procedures.
  • Supervise and coordinate TRS operations, including rigging up, running, and rigging down equipment.
  • Ensure all TRS operations are executed in accordance with company procedures, particularly L3-OWS-ALL-TRS-PR-013 (TRS Crew on Location).
  • Ensure correct make-up torques and validate all graphs for each casing, tubing, or screen running job using computer software.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and job performance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to TRS technicians and other team members.
  • Undertake roughneck duties where required.
  • Participate in emergency drills and safety checks.
  • Conduct pre-job meetings to discuss job expectations, safety protocols, and performance standards.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Respond to well control situations and provide instructions to the team.
  • Communicate effectively with rig personnel, customers, and company management.
  • Promote continuous improvement in quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

We offer:

  • Learning and development support.
  • Collaborative, diverse, and inclusive working environment.
  • Part of a global company with opportunities for growth and development within the Drilling or Well Services organisation.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • Life assurance.
  • Personal accident insurance.
  • Company sick pay.
  • Group personal pension scheme.
