A vacancy has arisen for the position of Operational Planner within our Aberdeen Office at Prime View, Kingswells. The key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the responsibilities detailed below:

  • Focal point for client/rig against contract on all ongoing operations
  • Follow up customer project/receive request from customer:
  • Establish customer order
  • Ensure receipt of customer PO
  • Establish equipment list (recommendation/clarifications)
  • Ensure Operation Coordinator finalizes equipment lists and approve
  • Ensure correct pricing
  • Ensure customer order is updated when required
  • Prepare necessary reports
  • Ensure jobs are released early in IFS to ensure that the workshop have the possibilities to plan maintenance properly
  • Attend client meetings and ensure participation from team where needed
  • Follow up client feedback
  • Prepare pre-job and de-brief information for TRS Crew
  • Contact with TRS Crew regarding job performance
  • Handle job report received from TRS Crew
  • Ensure customer order is ready for invoicing, ensure the PR and invoice are sent in due time
  • Approve outgoing invoices
  • Follow up Synergi
  • Offer equipment beyond contract for all Well Services product lines
  • Be a door opener for Well Services sales team
  • Participate in tender process
  • Participate in revenue forecasting as required
  • Participate in sporadic offshore trips as required
  • Co-ordinate offshore travel for TRS Crew when required
  • The successful candidate must have the following:

    • The right to work in the UK
    • Preferably degree in engineering or technical certificate of apprenticeship/technical institute
    • Preferably 5 years of relevant TRS experience
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience
    • Good knowledge of technical drilling equipment
