A vacancy has arisen for the position of HR Co-ordinator based in our office at Prime View in Kingswells, Aberdeen. The key duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Handle employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Assist in ensuring that all areas pertaining to personnel are run in a cost-effective and safe manner.
- Provide support in the planning and administration of specific rig schedules.
- Ensure optimum use of offshore personnel across all installations, maintaining effective communication at all times.
- Be responsible for recording all personnel movements in the personnel database and carry out spot audits on the quality of information held in the database.
- Ensure that all personnel records are retained in a confidential and professional manner.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies with regards to sourcing agency personnel.
- Arrange travel/accommodation as required.
- Process monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Carry out all general day-to-day HR administration.
- Participate in a rota system providing out of hours on call cover for all personnel issues.
- Be a member of the emergency response next of kin team.
- Perform any other duties as directed by your supervisor.
The successful candidate will preferably have some or all of the following:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR role.
- Working knowledge of UK employment law.
- CIPD qualification preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and HR systems/databases.
- Must have experience of dealing with external clients and suppliers.
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritise accordingly.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgement and maintain strict confidentiality.
