We are looking for a hands-on Fishing Warehouse Tool Technician to be heavily involved in all workflow processes found within the warehouse for the Fishing & Remedial tools and related equipment. They will be responsible for stripping and building tools, loading/unloading trucks, booking in tools, cleaning tools using pressure washer unit and pulling the correct tools to match operations shipping ticket. They will also be expected to load/unload baskets. The Fishing Warehouse Tool Technician will offer key FLT support to all warehouse areas to keep tools flowing consistently throughout different workshops. Service quality, job preparation, keeping a good clean workstation/area, planning and safety are key priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining all equipment in good, safe working order according to standards and reports any problem or deviation to warehouse supervisor.
- Performing daily maintenance checks to FLT’s and OH cranes.
- Make and break job specific assemblies.
- Pressure testing.
- Carrying out general FLT duties.
- Incoming goods process/mobilisation of equipment.
- Loading/Unloading Cargo Baskets.
- Sourcing Tools as per shipping tickets.
- Be part of the on-call rota.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum 3 years’ experience of working in a busy warehouse environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities/jobs.
- Must have torque machine experience.
- Must hold a valid FLT License.
- Must hold a valid Combi License.
- Must hold a valid OH crane certificate.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be able to work on their own initiative and with minimal supervision.
