The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
As FP&A in the UK&I team, you will play a key part in all budget and forecast processes and support in monitoring and analysing cost base, delivering insights to support cost efficiency and strategic decision-making. In addition, the role will take full ownership of the revenue recognition accounting processes, ensuring accurate and compliant treatment of revenue in line with applicable standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Own the revenue recognition accounting processes.
- Manage subscription and loyalty scheme accounting and support in producing membership reporting to the commercial team.
- Support the FP&A Manager in delivering the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, co-ordinating closely with Group Finance colleagues.
- Own and manage the weekly trade review process.
- Provide the Area Managers with insightful commentary and data on monthly performance.
- Work with the wider Finance and Operation teams to provide analysis and insight on financial performance specifically targeting cost base.
- Ad-hoc support on financial performance analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis supporting the wider UK & Ireland business as well as liaising with group finance colleagues on key focus areas.
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant with good technical accounting knowledge
- Previous experience working within the retail/leisure or hospitality industry would be an advantage
- Highly analytical, able to drill into and understand the numbers
- Experience with profitability modelling would be an advantage
- Great communicator, both with finance and non finance colleagues
- Great relationship builder, to become a trusted advisor to their business unit
