Odds Scanner is hiring an ambitious, results‑driven Head of SEO to own organic growth and SERP domination across our content‑driven portfolio in the sports, casino and betting sectors, leading a global team of 80+ SEOs.

You will set strategy and run the operations for the OS Media business unit—owning growth targets, budgets, hiring, and P&L—while building a hybrid SEO function that combines cutting‑edge content systems, technical excellence, and sophisticated link acquisition.

You will be accountable for driving market share across targeted keyword clusters and delivering predictable, scalable content‑led acquisition through people, process, and automation.

This is a leadership role based in the Malta HQ reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

Strategic

  • Define and execute a global SEO strategy focused on SERP domination across targeted markets and keyword clusters.
  • Establish a scalable experimentation framework for content and SERP feature testing.
  • Act as the main stakeholder for organic acquisition strategy within leadership.

Operational

  • Lead and mentor SEO, content, and technical teams across multiple markets.
  • Build efficient workflows and sprint processes for SEO and content delivery.
  • Integrate AI/LLM‑assisted systems into content production and quality control.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs for organic performance, output, and ROI.

Technical

  • Oversee technical SEO architecture, crawling, indexing, and site performance.
  • Manage the SEO tool stack and analytics infrastructure (GA4, Looker, Semrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
  • Collaborate with development teams to plan and execute SEO‑focused improvements.
  • Maintain high standards for data integrity, observability, and reporting accuracy.

Content & Automation

  • Build AI‑driven content pipelines combining automation with human oversight.
  • Create scalable frameworks for content generation, optimization, and clustering.
  • Define and enforce content quality standards based on E‑A‑T and engagement metrics.
  • Leverage LLMs to accelerate ideation, drafting, and topical gap analysis.

Link Acquisition

  • Design and manage a diversified link acquisition strategy (digital PR, outreach, sponsored placements, niche edits, link networks, etc.).
  • Evaluate and balance link‑building channels for ROI and compliance risk.
  • Build in‑house and external partnerships to scale authority‑building initiatives.
  • Monitor link performance and continuously optimize acquisition strategies.
  • Own the OS Media P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
  • Optimize spend allocation across tools, content, and link‑building operations.
  • Track and report ROI by market, channel, and keyword cluster.
  • Present results and growth plans to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of SEO experience, with a focus on content‑led, affiliate, lead generation and/or multi‑site businesses (iGaming experience preferred).
  • Proven success in achieving SERP domination and large‑scale organic growth.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, content SEO, Product‑Led SEO and link acquisition.
  • Experience leading senior managers and distributed teams.
  • Hands‑on experience with AI/LLM content workflows and SEO automation.
  • P&L ownership or channel‑level budget management.
  • Data‑driven mindset with advanced analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian preferred).
  • A fast‑paced company working in one of the most competitive markets online.
