Contract type: Permanent, full-time
Compensation: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum salary (based on experience)
Holiday: 31 days holiday (including public holidays)
Bonus: Discretionary Christmas bonus
Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Overtime may be required from time to time, including early starts and late evenings, when events occur. Domestic and overseas travel may be required from time to time. Weekend work and overtime will be compensated as time off in lieu.

The company: Oddity Events & Marketing is an award-winning event management agency based in Central London, but delivering events all over the world. We are a small but dynamic team, and our clients include global charities, NGOs, and corporate businesses.
Purpose of the role: This is a mid-level role for an organised, proactive and dynamic person, with strong communication and time management skills. You must have a minimum of two years of experience in an events role and be able to lead the delivery of small-scale events such as private dinners, webinars, Parliamentary events and drinks receptions. You will also be required to support the Events Manager with the delivery of large-scale events, taking ownership of project workstreams.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Project Executive(s) to guarantee the successful delivery of events for our clients
- Oversee the output of the Project Executive(s) on their owned projects, ensuring the work is efficient and streamlined
- Report to the Events Manager with progress updates and risks for each project or workstream you own
- Support with marketing initiatives and new business activity for the agency
- Lead and contribute to internal and external meetings with clients, delivery partners and suppliers
- Manage budgets of various scales with accuracy and a commercial approach
General duties:
- Lead on day-to-day planning of events and client projects, producing and monitoring project plans, delegating tasks and overseeing the work of the Project Executive(s).
- Attend and facilitate client meetings, ensuring timely follow-up
- Monitor communications to and from clients, being responsive and proactive
- Provide ad-hoc support as required by the wider team
- Support on new business, including proposal writing and concept development
- Represent the agency at industry events
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- At least two years of experience in an events role is essential
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
- Knowledge of Instagram and LinkedIn
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Highly organised with good time management skills
- Attention to detail is essential within this role
- Ability to work with and without supervision
- Proactive with suggesting solutions and offering support
- Comfortable to work remotely but communicate effectively about their progress on assignments, workload and priorities
- Flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond when required
Further skills, not necessary but an advantage:
- Experience of working in an events agency
- Knowledge or experience in using Slack, MailChimp and Zkipster
- Knowledge of UK venues
- Experience of using a CRM system
