As Wedding and Event Coordinator, you play a crucial role in the success of every wedding and event hosted at the hotel. You bring exceptional verbal communication skills and a keen attention to detail to every stage of planning. You assist with the planning and execution of events, coordinate closely with vendors, and make sure every guest need is met during the event. Key Responsibilities
- Create, photograph and edit engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
- Assist with planning and maintaining a weekly/monthly social media content calendar.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of food, drinks, events, the hotel, staff and guest experiences.
- Create Instagram Stories, Reels, TikToks and other short-form video content.
- Write engaging captions that reflect the brand's tone of voice.
- Promote special offers, seasonal campaigns, events, weddings, afternoon tea, food and beverage promotions and hotel experiences.
- Monitor social media comments, messages, mentions and reviews, responding appropriately and professionally.
- Encourage guest-generated content and identify opportunities to increase engagement.
- Monitor social media trends, hashtags, sounds and relevant hospitality trends.
- Support the management team with social media campaigns and promotional activities.
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage, Events, Rooms and Marketing teams to gather content and promote upcoming activity.
- Track basic social media performance, including reach, engagement, views, followers and content performance.
- Keep up to date with competitor activity and identify ideas that could benefit the business.
- Ensure all content follows the company's brand guidelines and maintains a professional image.
Skills & Experience
- Experience using Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Good photography and basic video-editing skills.
- Ability to create engaging Reels, Stories and short-form videos.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Creative, enthusiastic and confident when approaching staff and guests for content.
- Good understanding of current social media trends.
- Experience using Canva, CapCut or similar content-creation software would be advantageous.
- Hospitality, hotel, restaurant or events experience is desirable but not essential.
