We’re ready to scale our social presence into a category leader across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube — and we need a Head of Social who can make it happen.
Role Overview
The Head of Social will own Odd Muse’s social strategy end-to-end, leading creative direction for all platforms, driving measurable growth, and building a best-in-class social team.
This role is both strategic and hands-on – you’ll set the vision, lead platform strategies, and also roll up your sleeves to create, edit, and post content in the early stages.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Creative and Content Lead to combine high-quality brand assets with fast-moving, trend-led social content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Odd Muse’s multi-platform social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube) to achieve follower growth, engagement, and revenue goals
- Translate brand campaigns into engaging social-first activations
- Identify and own growth KPIs, reporting performance weekly to the Founder/Head of Marketing. Keep ahead of platform changes, emerging formats, and cultural trends
Content Direction
- Work with the Head of Creative and Content Lead to ensure professional assets are leveraged effectively for social
- Oversee trend-led, organic content creation in collaboration with in-house Content Creators
- Ensure brand voice, tone, and visual identity are consistent across all platforms
- Approve all content calendars and final posts before publishing
Community & Engagement
- Build and manage a strong community by fostering two-way engagement
- Work with creative to implement strategies for UGC collection, influencer collaborations, and brand partnerships
- Work with customer service to respond to queries in brand tone
- Build out a high-performing social team that supports rapid brand growth
- Hire, train, and manage social specialists, creators, and analysts
- Set clear roles, responsibilities, and KPIs for each team member
- Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and results
- Monitor content performance daily, pivoting strategy when needed
- Produce monthly reports on KPIs, platform growth, and ROI
- Test and scale new content formats based on data
Key Requirements
- 5+ years in social media management, ideally in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle
- Proven track record of scaling social accounts into high-growth channels
- Experience managing and mentoring teams
- Strong creative eye with understanding of luxury brand positioning
- Confident in analytics tools (e.g. Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics)
- Ability to balance high-quality creative with speed and adaptability
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
